The Possibility of War in Relation to September 11th, 2001
Preface.
As you are all now aware, this website was first created the day after
9.11.01, literally within hours of the event itself. It's original
intentions remain the same now, and hopefully, will continue for a long
time to come. As a preface to this essay, I first wanted to take a moment
to thank everyone who has written to me. I am happy to say that i have
read every single email, however because of the enormous amount of reaction
to this website, I haven't been able to respond to all of you. And for
that I want to apologize, and sincerely emphasize how important your
words are, no matter what view you might have and I will indeed try
my absolute best to respond to each and every single letter. Your patience
is sincerely appreciated, and I thank you all for submitting such great
articles, comments and stories.
I was greatly interested in writing a piece, that was completely objective,
and that could bring facts to light, in hopes that people would create
their own opinion in relation to the current real possibility of war.
However, This piece is written, in relation to the events of September
11th, as an overview, including a listed pattern of events, that I would
hope give a more rounded outlook as to what lead up to the events of
September 11th, as well as where we stand realistically, at this current
moment in time, in relation to war. What I think is most important,
is to keep an open mind, and to really understand that September 11th,
was a pinnacle moment in American History, however, part of a series
of serious events throughout the world over the past 12 years that have
now led to the possibility of war between the American and Iraqui Nations.
This
in no way down-grades the seriousness of September 11th, nor is it in any way
intended to offend anyone, wether you are for the war or against it, or the victims
of September 11th, or people who were in no way affected by Septemeber 11th. I
dont know many people who know all of the facts, and I in no way try to give the
inclination that I know them all either. Simply, that there are two sides to every
story, and I took it upon myself to find out as much as I could to educate myself
about the issues at hand, as I hope that most people will. In closing, Educate
yourself ! Don't just base your decisions on hear say. I encourage everyone to
take the time to have a good think about it ! Because it will affect all of us
in some way. Wether it be the economy, or the destruction of the enviroment, all
of the events we are facing in today's world will definitely impact us all. So
if you decide to support the war, or are completely against it, I implore you,
to take the time to educate yourself, and in the end, let the decision be that
of your own, and not that of your neighbor, or hearsay, or what you see on TV.
I applaud you all, no matter what stance you take, for at least taking the time
to feel passionate about it. After all, the freedom of choice is a Human Right.
And the only way twoards a truly peaceful world, is to show respect to all people,
and respect the god-given rights of the all people. And
now on to the essay, dedicated to Mr. Michael Moore.....
